The WOOD PREMIUM Firmer Chisel is a specialized woodworking tool suitable for rougher work and carving deep profiles. The blade is ground both lengthwise and heightwise to effectively prevent the tool’s side surfaces from rubbing against the walls of the hole being cut, which facilitates penetration into the material. The ergonomic handle, made of hard and tough hornbeam wood, is highly resistant to strong blows from a mallet. The stained handle, combined with a brass ferrule and a specially designed blade, creates a robust tool for demanding carpentry tasks.

Blade:

• forged from high-alloy Cr-Mn steel,
• heat-treated to 59 HRc,
• fully ground and sharpened,
• ground lengthwise and heightwise to reduce friction.

Handle:

• ergonomic with a circular cross-section,
• made of stained hornbeam wood,
• brass ferrule.
