Portable Cash Drawers: Security on the Go and in the Store
Portable cash drawers are an ideal and highly practical solution for the secure handling of cash. They ensure the organized storage of coins and bills in retail stores, at markets, sales booths, trade shows, or during mobile sales on the go. At first glance, our cash boxes stand out thanks to their distinctive design—their sides are rounded, creating an original and elegant shape while also increasing the strength of the metal construction against potential impacts.
Inside the cash drawers is a removable plastic coin tray, which is conveniently divided into separate compartments for easy and quick sorting of coins of various denominations. A sturdy rotary cylinder lock, supplied with two keys, ensures that the entire cash drawer is securely locked. A sturdy folding handle on the top, recessed into the lid, allows for comfortable carrying and easy storage of the cash register in a drawer.

Is it possible to completely remove the plastic coin tray from the portable cash register?
Yes, the internal plastic coin tray (divided into compartments for small coins) is loosely inserted along the inner edge of the cash drawer and can be easily removed at any time. This gives you access to the spacious lower compartment of the cash register, which is primarily intended for storing paper bills, meal vouchers, receipts, or small valuable documents.
Are portable cash registers suitable as a substitute for a safe for storing daily takings overnight?
Absolutely not. A portable cash register is designed for the quick organization of money, secure transport, and protection of cash from light-fingered individuals during a work shift or at a sales booth. However, it does not provide a level of security against a targeted break-in (e.g., using a crowbar). At the end of the sales day, all excess cash should be transferred to a certified, securely anchored safe or deposited at a bank.
Is it possible to look inside the key box without opening it?
The lockers we offer are all-metal, with solid, opaque doors. This design was chosen intentionally for greater security and discretion—this prevents unauthorized persons (such as visitors in the hallway) from seeing through the glass which keys are currently in the locker and which are missing.
What's the best way to organize keys inside a key box so we can see them at a glance?
For maximum efficiency, we recommend using colored plastic name tags with paper labels in your locker. You can use different colors to distinguish between individual floors or departments (e.g., offices, warehouses, vehicle fleet). Furthermore, if you affix the same number to both the hook in the locker and the specific key tag, every employee will immediately know—without having to think about it—where to return the borrowed key upon their return.
