A new member joined the limited-edition “Soccer Legends” knife series in August— Vladimír Šmicer —a former national team player who, in addition to Slavia, also played for prestigious foreign clubs. He is the first Czech to have won the prestigious UEFA Champions League and also the only Czech player to have scored in the final of that competition, where he netted two goals.
Vladimír Šmicer thus joins the existing lineup of “Soccer Legends,” which until now consisted of three former Sparta players—Lumír Mistr “Máňa” (this knife is already sold out), Jan Berger, and Jan Koller. What all these knives have in common is that the soccer players themselves contributed to their design; each knife has its own unique number engraved on the blade and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the player’s own hand.
Although the “Soccer Legends” edition is primarily a collector’s item, the knife is, of course, fully functional and, in addition to the two blades, also features a bottle opener, a screwdriver, a wire stripper, a can opener, a corkscrew, and a spike.
“Soccer Legends” is an exclusive limited-edition collector’s series in Mikov’s lineup dedicated to sports. Alongside it, there is also a numbered edition of military knives called “Project War Veteran” on the market, though the number of units produced for each type in that series is not limited. The individual knives in this series (Storm and Repetitor) commemorate our army’s overseas missions, and Mikov donates a portion of the proceeds from their sales to the Military Solidarity Fund.
