The RESCUE II once again features an automatic main blade opening mechanism, and its robust construction allows it to be used even in extremely harsh conditions, including when working with protective gloves. Each knife is equipped with a light indicator that minimizes the risk of losing it in smoky areas or under other conditions of reduced visibility. The knife features a hard, replaceable tip for breaking glass and a replaceable blade, both of which any user can easily replace on their own.
The proven 420 stainless steel blade features a hook for cutting and fraying straps, fabrics, seat belts, plastic tie wraps, or cables. The underside of the blade features serrated teeth for cutting hemp or nylon ropes, as well as thinner branches or plastic parts that might obstruct an emergency response.
The knife is equipped with a saw featuring a liner lock for cutting laminated glass (such as front and rear car windows). The saw can be easily opened without having to remove protective gloves. This is because its end extends beyond the knife’s handle and, when opened, can be braced against clothing or part of the user’s gear. When cutting laminated glass, the glass breaker is first used to create a breach through which the saw is inserted, and the saw then cuts out the desired opening.
RESCUE II is the ideal tool for firefighters, emergency responders, police, and other emergency services where a quick and effective response is required. But it’s not just for them—it’s a great tool for use in emergency situations for literally anyone who wants to be prepared to help themselves and others in such moments. Experiences on the road, in the outdoors, or during unexpected disasters are the best reasons to get a RESCUE II as soon as possible.
