The limited-edition Repetitor knife with a blue handle is no longer reserved exclusively for UNPROFOR veterans—it is now available to the general public as well.
The Repetitor knife with a blue handle was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the deaths of two Czech soldiers— Luďek Zeman and Petr Valeš. Both were killed in the line of duty during theUNPROFOR peacekeeping missionattheTango 23 Repetitorobservation postinthe former Yugoslavia.
The blue color of the handle symbolically references the colors of the UN and also commemorates the courage and sacrifice of the Czech soldiers who gave their lives during the mission.
This edition was originally intended exclusively for veterans of the mission. However, the interest and feedback have shown that the story behind this knife resonates with the general public as well. That is why we are makingthe Repetitor knives with blue handles availablefor general sale.
This is a limited, numbered edition of 100 knives. Each one is unique not only because of its story but also because of the specific contribution – From each knife sold, we donate 1,000 Kč to the Military Solidarity Fund, which will subsequently provide the total amount of 100,000 Kč toa specific soldier from the UNPROFOR mission who is facing a difficult life situation.
