This year at the IWA OutdoorClassic trade show in Nuremberg, the exhibit by Mikov, the largest Czech knife manufacturer, will focus primarily on showcasing new products — the Predator spring-assisted knives made of N690 steel in stonewash and blackout finishes, and a prototype of the new Elipt folding knife.
"The Elipt knife is part of the Progress series. Its design is based on the concept of the first knife of this type, the List. It features a frame lock, aluminum scales, and a blade made of Sandvik 12C27 steel. It is designed to be competitive in terms of design, materials used, and price,” said Petr Balej, sales director at Mikov.
Mikov plans to release the Elipt knife for distribution in late 2017, provided there is sufficient market interest.
In addition to these new products, the company’s booth will feature classic knives—hunting, outdoor, and folding knives—as well as models from the new Progress series, which includes the List, Patron, and the Pocket, a recipient of numerous design awards.
Mikov is returning to the IWA OutdoorClassic after a one-year hiatus. You can visit the company’s exhibit from Friday, March 3, through Monday, March 6, at booth 529 in Hall 5.
