The prototype of the new Elipt folding knife, which Mikov unveiled at this year’s IWA OutdoorClassic trade show in Nuremberg, will also make its debut in the Czech Republic. It will be on display and available for testing at the company’s booth at the Natura Viva exhibition in Lysá nad Labem.
The Elipt is another knife in the Progress series. Its shape is based on the popular List fixed-blade knife, and its blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 steel.
In addition to the Elipt prototype, Mikov has prepared a traditional event for exhibition visitors—free Mikov knife sharpening. And, of course, everyone has the opportunity to purchase one of the knives from the company’s wide selection.
Mikov is a traditional Czech manufacturer of knives for hunting, outdoor activities, sports, leisure, and professional use in the kitchen and crafts. Among its best-known products are the UTON military knife, the Fixir and Hunter folding hunting knives, and the Pocket series of pocket knives, which has won numerous design awards.
This year’s Natura Viva exhibition will take place from May 24 to 28 at the exhibition center in Lysá nad Labem.
