Mikov has begun using Google’s G Suite office solution. This is yet another systemic change that has taken place following the merger with Conmetron.
Mikov has thus joined a long list of companies that use G Suite. In the Czech Republic, these include, for example, the soft drink manufacturer Kofola and the publisher of the advertising newspaper Annonce.
“Based on my experience at Conmetron, where we used it successfully, G Suite is beneficial for both internal communication and communication with customers and suppliers,” said Mikov’s director, Karel Ježek.
In addition to cloud-based file storage, G Suite also offers office applications, the Gmail email client, and a calendar. Google designed the suite so that its use is not dependent on the specific type of computer or mobile phone used by the end user.
“The advantages of the G Suite package are, of course, its reliability, an excellent anti-spam filter for email, and a very reasonable price for the services it offers,” added Karel Ježek.
The implementation of the G Suite solution, including employee training, was carried out for Mikov by IT specialist Radek Andrš, with whom Conmetron has a long-standing partnership.
Mikov is the largest Czech manufacturer of knives, industrial fasteners, and nail guns. Among its best-known knife products are, for example, the Predator switchblade, the legendary Rybička, and the Fixir hunting knife. Mikov has also won numerous design awards for its Pocket line of luxury folding knives.
