Mikov, the largest Czech knife manufacturer, will present its new products for 2018 at this year’s IWA Outdoor Classic trade show in Nuremberg. These include the Elipt knife, a concept the company first unveiled here last year, as well as prototypes of two new folding knives—the Hubert hunting knife and an outdoor knife called the Princ.
The exhibition, themed this year around the slogan “Mikov—Knives of the 21st Century,” will also feature a new variation of the popular Rybička knife with hand-painted handles and the Stovka metal knife adorned with Swarovski crystals.
In addition to these new products, the company’s booth will feature both classic knives—hunting, outdoor, and folding—as well as modern products from the Progress line.
You can visit the company’s exhibit from Friday, March 9, through Monday, March 12, at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, booth 5-412 in Hall 5.
Mikov is based in Mikulášovice in the Děčín region and carries on the local tradition of knife-making that dates back several centuries. Among the company’s best-known products, in addition to its most famous “Rybičky” (Little Fish) series, are the UTON army knife, the Predator switchblade knives, and the Pocket series of pocket knives, which has won numerous design awards.
The company also markets nail guns, staplers, and small office equipment under the RON brand.
