Mikov is announcing a contest for all fans and owners of the List knife who are both creative and technically minded.

Anyone who creates any accessory for the List knife that is not a copy of an existing Mikov accessory is eligible to enter the contest.

The accessory must be functional and designed in such a way that it can be easily assembled and disassembled, and that it is suitable for mass production.

Participants can enter the contest by sending a photo of their created accessory to Mikov’s Facebook page or via email to info@mikov.cz. The company will post the submitted photos on Facebook, and the jury will select the three best entries, whose creators will receive awards. The evaluation criteria are originality, simplicity, and practicality of the accessory.

The contest winner will receive a List knife plus a voucher for Mikova products worth 5,000 CZK; second place will be awarded a List knife plus a voucher for Mikova products worth 3,000 CZK; and third place will receive a List knife.

Accessories submitted to the contest may be selected for mass production by Mikova at the company’s discretion—in such a case, the designer will receive a commission based on the number of units sold.

The contest deadline is August 31, 2018; the results will be announced on September 15, 2018.

Mikov reserves the right not to award any of the prizes if the jury concludes that the submitted accessories do not meet the required quality standards.
