If you visit the Czech Police Museum on Saturday, June 9, at 7:00 p.m. during Prague Museum Night 2018, you’ll not only have a wonderful experience but also take home some great tips on knife sharpening.
“Since we know that sharpening a knife properly isn’t exactly easy, we’re sending a master knife sharpener to the Czech Police Museum to share his expertise with anyone who’s interested,” said Bedřich Jetelina, Mikov’s communications director.
The knife-sharpeningworkshop is the first in a series of events accompanying the exhibition “The History and Present of Mikov Knives.” The exhibition showcases all of the company’s key knives used by law enforcement agencies, and it also features the traditional and most famous Czech knife—the Rybička.
You can visit the exhibition daily, except Mondays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Museum of the Police of the Czech Republic, located at Ke Karlovu 1, Prague 2. It will remain open until December 21, 2018. This year marks the 15th edition of Prague Museum Night, and the Czech Police Museum has been opening its exhibits to the public since the very beginning of this event.
