On Saturday, October 6, the new Hubert hunting knife will be officially unveiled and launched at the Kuks Hospital as part of the St. Hubert Festival.
The knife was developed as a joint effort between the traditional Czech knife manufacturer Mikov and the Order of St. Hubert. The knife reflects the practical needs of hunters in the field; for example, the saw blade was significantly lengthened during its development.
The Hubert knife is also linked to a program to help those in need, as 95 Kč from each knife sold will be donated to the František Antonín Count Sporck Hospital Foundation in Kuks.
Mikov is the largest Czech manufacturer of cutlery. Hunting knives make up a significant part of its product portfolio. The Fixir and Hunter models have already found their place among hunters in the past. With its size and design, the Hubert fits right in between these two popular knife types.
