For 2019, Mikov has prepared a newly designed exhibition booth for participation in international and domestic exhibitions and trade shows, reflecting the company’s current focus on design, quality, and user experience.
“Our experience from the most recent Die Hohe Jagd & Fischereitrade fair in Salzburg confirms the high level of interest in our exhibit and the very positive reactions to our presentation,” said Martin David, Mikov’s sales director, adding that “the booth was swamped with customers for virtually the entire duration of the exhibition.”
Mikov brought an exhibition to Salzburg that is open to all visitors. The booth, measuring at least 30 square meters, showcases a cross-section of the company’s production, including not only knives but also other products. This allows interested visitors not only to viewthe products on display but also to pick them up and try them out at a special table with samples.
The Salzburg exhibition, which focused on hunting and fishing, drew knife enthusiasts from Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Italy, France, Hungary, Switzerland, and the Balkan countries, who were interested not only in hunting knives but also in other knife products.
“We are also proud that in Salzburg we finalized our partnership with Austrian distributor and knife designer Armin Stütz, who has designed a range of knives for world-renowned brands and also runs a successful e-shop in Austria,” said Lukáš Benko, Mikov’s director of international trade, reflecting on the recent exhibition.
Mikov is a traditional Czech manufacturer of knives, office equipment, and industrial fasteners and staplers. It builds on a 225-year tradition of industrial production in Bohemian Switzerland. Among Mikov’s best-known knives are the traditional Rybička, the Predator switchblade, and the Fixir, Hunter, and Hubert hunting folding knives.
