Seven Reasons Why Fathers Should Teach Their Children How to Use a Knife

Every now and then, an article or interview pops up somewhere in which someone laments that the Western world lacks real men. In this age of political correctness and anxiety, it’s hardly surprising. But this can be changed, and a knife can be a good tool for the job.

So when we take the kids and some knives out somewhere—at least these seven positive things will happen:

  1. We spend time together.
  2. We’re out in the fresh air and in nature.
  3. The children see that their father knows how to handle himself.
  4. The children learn basic safety habits for working with a knife.
  5. The kids develop their dexterity.
  6. We can make something together that the whole family will enjoy—at the very least, trim some sticks for marshmallows.
  7. We can tell the kids family stories they wouldn’t normally be willing to listen to.

Yes, we were inspired by Father’s Day. But that only comes once a year, whereas we can head out into nature with the kids and our knives much more often.

Of course, nothing is completely perfect; things might not go exactly as we imagine. So let’s definitely not forget the first-aid kit—and if it doesn’t go perfectly the first time, there are still plenty of beautiful summer weekends ahead when we can try again.

For this occasion, we’ve prepared a special discount offer—but it’s not just for dads. You can purchase the Predator 241-NH-1/KPfolding knife on our online store for 1,139 CZK until June 18, 2019, if you enter the code "TATA2019." Valid for the first 30 units sold.
