Mikov provided financial support for Czech war veterans to participate in the REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY parade, which will take place on Sunday, November 10, in London to mark Veterans Day.
The parade, organized by the Royal British Legion—the UK’s largest veterans’ association—takes place right in the heart of London at the Cenotaph in the presence of members of the British royal family, the Prime Minister, and members of the government, and will be attended by 10,000 war veterans from Commonwealth countries.
“For Czech veterans, participating in such a significant public event is a great honor, as in the past this honor was granted only to Polish veterans. We have been granted this honor for our shared struggle—both historical and contemporary—in the world wars and modern conflicts,” said Tomáš Sláma, who is organizing the Czech veterans’ participation.
For Mikov, supporting activities related to assisting military veterans is a top priority, as evidenced by the long-term “War Veteran”project , the proceeds of which provide stable support for the Military Solidarity Fund.
Mikov is a traditional manufacturer of cutlery, office equipment, and industrial fasteners, headquartered in Mikulášovice, located in the heart of “Bohemian Switzerland.” The company also owns Narex Bystřice,a Czech manufacturer of hand tools .
