Taurus is our gift for the Republic's birthday

The national holiday on October 28 is actually our republic’s birthday—this year marking its impressive 102nd anniversary. That is why we want to congratulate our republic by releasing a new military knife for tank crews—the Taurus. After all, it’s only fitting to mark this birthday, even though these are difficult times and we cannot gather for any celebrations.

The knife came about because the command of a Czech Army tank battalion wanted to have its own distinctive knife model. In collaboration with combat knife designer Roman Hippík and our company’s engineers, a unique knife was born, featuring timeless specifications and an unmistakable design that every owner will proudly carry with them.

The connection to the tank forces is also evident in its design. The hexagonally machined scales symbolize a tank track pin, and the front part of the handle resembles a tank’s front fender when viewed from the side.

Two versions are available. The T0 version is intended exclusively for members of the tank battalion, while the T1 version is for the general public. The difference between the two versions lies in the tank battalion emblem on the rear ferrule and in the material from which the ferrule is made. The T0 version is made of a special steel designed for manufacturing the pins that connect tank tracks.

What both versions have in common, however, is the steel used for the blade (N690 hardened to 58–60 HRc), the special DLC coating, and the option to have any inscription engraved on the blade.

You can order the T1 version right here; we’ll ship the first units in about 6 weeks, so they’ll definitely be under the Christmas tree.

And here’s a little bonus—the first twenty owners of the T1 version will receive a tank ride as a gift from us.
