Not all of us can actively shape history. But each and every one of us can commemorate significant historical milestones and draw inspiration from them. We are doing just that right now by launching the numbered series of the Storm knife from the War Veteran edition, which commemorates the Czechoslovak Army’s first overseas mission in 1991.
It was January 17, 1991, when allied forces set out for a military conflict with a single goal: to liberate Kuwait, which had been occupied by Iraqi troops. A Czechoslovak chemical defense unit was also serving in the ranks of the coalition forces at that time. The entire military operation was named Desert Storm, which is reflected in the knife’s name.
The Storm knife, designed by military knife designer Major Roman Hippík, is based on the design of the historically proven UTON military knife, which our soldiers carried with them at the time. Its shape also pays homage to the American “invisible” Stealth bombers, which were deployed in combat for the first time at that time. And especially since it is part of the War Veteran knife series, 300 Kč from every knife sold will be donated to the Military Solidarity Fund.
The knife features all the characteristics expected of modern knives. It is crafted from high-quality N690 stainless steel, features a special, highly durable DLC coating on its surface, and comes with a practical sheath that allows for safe carrying and quick deployment.
The first 100 Storm knives will be available on December 14. You can order it here.
