Because our company consistently supports the Military Solidarity Fund, we had the honor on Thursday, November 19, 2020, to personally present the Storm knife—which we are launching as part of the War Veteran project— to the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, Army General Aleš Opat, and Brigadier General Lenka Šmerdová.
General Opata and Brigadier General Šmerdová were thus the first people outside our company’s employees to have the opportunity to physically examine the knife. On that occasion, General Opata praised Mikov’s systematic support of the Military Solidarity Fund, as well as the fact that the knife incorporates elements reminiscent of the first foreign mission of what was then still the Czechoslovak Army.
On this occasion, Mikov’s Sales Director Martin David and Communications Director Bedřich Jetelina also presented a brochure that will be included with every Storm knife package, summarizing key facts about Operation Desert Storm as well as the knife’s technical specifications.
