Butchers have been respected and esteemed craftsmen since time immemorial. In fact, the first craft guild in Prague was founded in 1312—and it was the butchers’ guild. It is no coincidence that the guild emblem of the butchers of the Kingdom of Bohemia featured a lion holding a butcher’s cleaver in its paws.
We love listening to the masters of the butcher’s craft and strive to design butcher’s knives that meet even the most demanding requirements. That’s why we’ve prepared a range of new products for this year, for both professionals and those who enjoy working with meat at home.
First and foremost, we’ve introduced two boning knives with curved blades, which were not previously available in our lineup. These are models 312-NH-13 and 312-NH-15, which, thanks to their greater flexibility and cutting performance, are designed to make boning meat easier—especially around joints and the pelvis—as well as for separating meat from long bones.
In addition, we have modified the handles of our butcher’s knives to improve ergonomics and ensure a safer grip. Thanks to our strict quality control, each batch of knives is assigned a unique ID.
As Mikováci, we are justifiably proud that Czech butchers enjoy using our Czech butcher’s knives. Professionals for whom a knife is their primary tool make sure to choose the best products available on the market. Our butcher’s knives offer them everything they need—quality, ergonomics, and a fair price.
Visit our online store and browse our complete selection of butcher’s knives designed for deboning, portioning, and trimming meat. Certification for food contact in accordance with European Union standards is a given.
So you’re sure to find exactly the knife you need. And that leaves just one thing to do—order it in time.
