These days, whenever we open or tune in to any economic news, it’s very likely that the first thing we’ll notice is a report about rising prices. Apartments, cars, building materials, raw materials, electronics, groceries—prices for simply everything are skyrocketing.
But if you take a look at our e-shop, you’ll see that we’re bucking the trend for now and keeping our prices steady. And the fact that we say “for now” isn’t some kind of veiled threat on our part, but a simple observation that sooner or later, even we won’t be able to escape economic reality.
Rising prices are actually a sign that the value of the money we earn is gradually decreasing. And of course, none of us want that. So if you’re looking for a way to prevent your savings from losing value, economists will always tell you that the best approach is to make sound investments.
Buying high-quality knives is certainly one of them, because their value doesn’t decrease over time. And we’re not just talking about the “Rybička” knife made of real gold, the limited-edition UTON commemorating the Republic’s anniversary, or General Bílý’s knife—all of which have seen their collector’s value multiply several times over in recent years. Knife collections vary, and anyone who devotes themselves to one for a while will eventually build a very valuable collection. And it doesn’t really matter whether they’re UTONs, hunting knives, or even craft knives.
Thanks to our collaboration with the Czech Army, we can add a dimension of helping others to investing and collecting. Our “War Veteran” project has already raised hundreds of thousands of crowns for the Military Solidarity Fund, and so far only the Storm knife has been available.
