The desert city of Las Vegas is a world-famous setting for many movies. It is best known for its easy access to marriage and the world’s largest concentration of casinos and gaming establishments. But it is also a hub for many trade shows that set global trends. The major consumer electronics trade show CES, which concluded a few days ago, will be followed here starting January 17, 2023, by the Shot Show—an exhibition dedicated to shooting, hunting, and the outdoors—where Mikov will also be showcasing its products.
The exhibition, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors not only from the United States, was first held in 1979 in St. Louis. It then traveled to many major U.S. cities before finally settling in Las Vegas in 2010.
Mikov’s exhibit in the Venetian Hall at booth number 44358 will focus on the Predator knife, which, alongside the Rybička, hunting, outdoor, and designer Pocket gentlemen’s knives, is among the company’s most sought-after products in the U.S. Mikov is thus building on the legacy of the knife makers from Mikulášovice, whose products were among the best-selling knives on the American market in the early 20th century.
Through our participation in the Shot Show, we want to show American customers that, as a Czech industrial company with a tradition dating back to 1794, we place particular emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship, original design, and the ingenious construction of Czech knives. And of course, we won’t forget to highlight our collaboration with Colt CZ Group on the production of a bayonet for the BREN 2 automatic rifle and the manufacture of specialized military knives.
If you’re planning a trip to the U.S., we’d love to welcome you at our booth.
