We're thinking of the fishermen, too

For those of us who are past school age, the two months of summer vacation are also an opportunity to rest, relax, and recharge. And setting out early in the morning to go fishing, sitting by a river that’s still quiet, casting your line, and letting your mind wander—that’s the ideal way to spend time for anyone who has discovered the beauty of fishing. It’s not for nothing that they say time spent fishing by the water doesn’t count toward life.

Fishing has evolved with the times, and today’s angler’s gear is nothing like what ferryman Karel Prošek used in Ota Pavel’s short stories. The basics, however, remain the same—a fishing rod, a hook, bait—and a knife. In a pinch, an ordinary “Rybička” or a versatile “Stovka” will do, but we also offer two specialized fishing knives.

With our fishing knife, you can, of course, easily scale your catch and gut it without any trouble. It also includes a specialized tool for cutting the fishing line and removing the hook. It’s up to you whether these features are enough for you or if you’d prefer a knife that also includes a spike and a bottle and can opener.
