Mikov celebrates international success: the Office collection wins the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025

We are pleased to announce that the Office collection, which we created in collaboration with designer Natálie Navrátilová, has won the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025. This international recognition is one of the world's most important awards in the field of product design and is a confirmation for us that Czech craftsmanship and innovative approach have a firm place in the world.
The Office collection was originally created as a diploma thesis at the University of Applied Arts in Prague (UMPRUM).
The aim was to design analogue office tools that are not only fully functional, but also aesthetically valuable - in line with the requirements of modern times. The result is a comprehensive range of office tools: a sharpener, a letter opener, a scalpel and three types of rulers: a straight ruler, a protractor and a triangle. The collection can also be purchased as a set.
These products combine precision craftsmanship with attention to detail and modern design that draws on tradition and current trends.
The collection was entered into the competition through the Red Dot: Young Professionals Application Day programme, which each year gives 50 young designers from around the world the opportunity to present their work to the Red Dot jury.
Winning this award is not only a personal achievement for Natálie Navrátilová, but also a great recognition for the Mikov brand. It confirms our ability to respond to current trends, to cooperate with young talents and to combine traditional Czech craftsmanship with original design.
The award-winning collection will be exhibited at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, and will also be included in the official Red Dot 2025 yearbook, which annually presents the world's best design products.
We see this success as a further step in our long-term efforts to combine quality, innovation and tradition.

The Office collection also won the award for Best New Product at Designblok 2024. Its elegant combination of functionality, precision workmanship and modern design makes it an exceptional product in its category.
