We'll be in Las Vegas this week

The desert city of Las Vegas is the world-famous setting for many movies. It's famous for its freedom to marry and the largest concentration of casinos and gambling halls in the world. But it's also the centre of many of the world's trend-setting exhibitions. The key consumer electronics trade fair CES, which ended a few days ago, will be replaced by a shooting, hunting and outdoor exhibition, the Shot Show (Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show), at which Mikov will be presenting its products from 17 January 2023.

The show, which is attended by tens of thousands of guests from America and beyond, was first held in 1979 in St. Louis. After that, it travelled to many American cities, and since 2010 it has finally landed in Las Vegas.

The focus of Mike's stand in the Venetian Hall at booth number 44358 will be the Predator knife, which along with Fish knife, hunting knives, outdoor knives and designer gentleman's Pocket knives are among the company's most popular products in the USA. Mikov is building on the success of cutlers from Mikulášovice (Nixdorf), whose products were among the best-selling knives on the American market in the early twentieth century.

With our participation in the Shot Show, we want to show American customers that as a Czech industrial company with a tradition since 1794, we place emphasis on quality craftsmanship, original design and imaginative construction of Czech knives. Therefore, we will not forget to emphasize our cooperation with Colt CZ Group on the production of the bayonet for the BREN 2 automatic rifle and the production of specialized military knives.
