The national holiday on October 28 is the birthday of our republic - this year is one hundred second. That is why we want to congratulate our republic by issuing a new army knife for tank troops - Taurus. Birthdays are worth remembering, even though today is a difficult time and we can't meet for any celebrations.
The national holiday on October 28 is the birthday of our republic - this year is one hundred second. That is why we want to congratulate our republic by issuing a new army knife for tank troops - Taurus. Birthdays are worth remembering, even though today is a difficult time and we can't meet for any celebrations.
The knife was created in such a way that the command of the tank battalion of the Army of the Czech Republic wished to have its own type of knife, which would be typical for them. In cooperation with the author of combat knives Roman Hippík and the technology of our company, a unique knife with timeless parameters and an unmistakable design was born.
The connection with the tank troops can also be found in its design. The hexagonal handles symbolize the pin of the tank belt and the front part of the handle the front fender of the tank when viewed from the side.
There are two versions. Version T0 is intended exclusively for members of the tank battalion. Version T1 is for the general public. The difference between the two versions is on the one hand in the emblem of the tank battalion on the rear fitting and then also in the material from which the fitting is made. The T0 version is made of special steel intended for the production of pins connecting tank belts.
What connects the two versions, on the other hand, is the blade steel used (N690 hardened to a hardness of 58-60 HRc), a special DLC coating, and the option of having any inscription engraved on the blade.
