Proper maintenance and storage

Proper maintenance and storage
After each use, the knife blade (or other components) must be properly cleaned, or lightly grease with oil to maintain their perfect and serviceable condition. During storage, the knives should not be in a humid or dirty environment. Knives with open blades should not be stored  together with metal objects to prevent damage, blunting of the blades or injury during handling. If the knife is not going to be used for a long time, it must be well cleaned, preserved and kept open to prevent excessive strain on the springs. Complete instructions for changing  springs can be found
